Week 4

The BCFFL might be the only Fantasy Football League in the World in which Ronnie Brown was on the bench of a losing team in a game where his 43.96 points would not have mattered. The so-called match-up of the year was not close to living up to its expectations. The 11th Street Bullies were out classed by Lattimer's Needles.

How about the Miami Dolphins absolutely embarrassing New England at home? The last time the Patriots got their asses kicked like this was at the Battle of Bunker Hill.

I'm glad that TJ Housh and Chris Perry finally had their coming out parties. Unfortunately, it was at the expense of Giants' fans hearts everywhere. I can say one thing about the Bengals: Carson Palmer is NOT overrated. He is a hell of a NFL QB.

No excuses from Plaxico Burress. Rumors have it that he was out partying until the wee hours of Mondee morning. Don't get me wrong, I love the partying but come on man. With the bye week approaching, there is a TIME and a place to party. Harrch is now without his #1 WR for the next 2 weeks.

How good is the NFC East? They have a combined record of 10-2. With both losses coming within the division! (Washington (2-1) to NY (3-0) and Philly (2-1) to Dallas (3-0). When suggesting the shift in power from the AFC to NFC, fans need to look no farther than the powerhouse NFC East.

Week 3 Results:

* BBI 126.04 over The Italian Birds 102.74 *

The teams will flip flop in the Odds Standings, as well in the Power Rankings. Things would have been a lot different if Chris Perry and Baltimore D were starting in place of Pats D and a Flex. But that's fantasy football folks. No excuses. BBI had an average week according to BCFFL scoring standards, but that's what it takes to succeed sometimes. Good to see Larry "Grand Mamma" Johnson get his first TD of the year. Larry Fitz powered BBI's WR corps to an eventual victory.

* Definite 134.34 over Germ 95.18 *

A lot was riding on the SD/NYJ Monday Night Game. Things couldn't have worked out any better for Harrch, except a Jets victory. Favre and LdT's combined 50 points paced Team Definite. All LenDale White does is rush for TDs. Lavernues Coles' breakout week was for nothing as he was riding Germ's bench. Good week for Maurice Jones-Drew behind a banged up Offensive Line.

* Kenny 125.6 over OB 110.04 *

220 RuYd, 2 RuTD (66,5), 6 ReYd, Recpt 35.6
104 RuYd, 3 RuTD (4,1,2) 28.4

Deja vu? Michael Turner owns OB this year, amassing for for almost 65 points in the 2 games with 5 total TDs. OB can't seem to catch a break, even when he finally gets production from his RBs. OB's team is not built to win games when Moss and Wayne combine for just over 15 points. Good overall week for The Raining Champ, he left a ton of points on the bench en route to victory.

* Miami Sharks 154.56 over The Posse 118.42 *

MJ continues to punish his opponents, this time running over the latter part of DEANICK, the famous license plate of Rino Pollaro himself. Reggie Bush continues his dominance with another 30+ week. TJ Housh, welcome back buddy! And a welcome back party it was, scoring over 30 points on 12 receptions and a TD. I never saw this coming but Jason Campbell is turning into a decent Fantasy Option at QB. I still think we will see a lot of Carson Palmer this year.

* Lattimer's Needles 161.86 over 11th Street Bullies 48.14 *

Mike had 6 guys score at least 20 (19.5) points this week! Those 6 guys beat half the teams in the league. Frank Gore is living up to his top 10 RB hype with another huge week. Hard to choose a single star of the Needles, but I'd give the game ball to Brandon Marshall, again. He might be the best WR in the NFL right now. With Roethlisberger banged up, along with Colston and Westbrook, it might be a long 2-3 weeks for the Bullies. If he can keep his head above water, he should coast into the playoffs having two 0-3 teams in the Evens Division.

Week 4 Picks:

* The Posse (+15) over BBI * (The Battle of the Pollaros)
* OB vs. Tim OVER 235 *
* Boone (+50) over Miami Sharks *
* Cincinnati (-3.5) over Cleveland *
* Atlanta at Carolina OVER 39 *
* Jets (-1.5) over Arizona *

BCFFL Power Rankings:

1) Lattimer's Needles (3-0)
2) Miami Sharks (3-0)
3) Kenny (3-0)
4) 11th Street Bullies (2-1)
5) BBI (2-1)
6) The Italian Birds (1-2)
